This policy explains what information twobrothersupholstery.com collects, why, who else handles it, and the choices you have. We’re a small upholstery shop, and we want this website to be useful to you without watching you.
Two Brothers Upholstery LLC (“Two Brothers,” “we,” “us”) is a custom upholstery shop at 1465 Savannah Ave, Unit C, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689. We operate twobrothersupholstery.com. This policy covers the website and the tools on it: the chat assistant, the AI Stitch Studio, the quote request form, and the map and directions on our Location page. It doesn’t cover the websites of other companies we link to, such as Facebook, Google Maps or Apple Maps, which have their own policies.
You can browse the entire site without telling us who you are. We only receive personal details that you choose to give us, plus basic technical information every website receives.
The quote form asks for your name, phone number and email address, and optionally your project type and notes about the job (including any design details carried over from the AI Stitch Studio). We use this only to reply to your request, prepare an estimate and follow up about your project.
When you call us, stop by the shop or message us on Facebook, we keep the details you share (like your name, phone number, vehicle or boat, and project notes) so we can quote and complete the work.
The chat assistant answers questions about our services, hours and location. The messages in your conversation are sent through our server to Google’s Gemini AI, which writes the reply. We don’t save chat transcripts, and the conversation disappears when you close or reload the page. Google processes the messages under its Gemini API terms. Please don’t type sensitive information such as payment card numbers into the chat; call us instead.
The Studio lets you upload a photo of a seat or cushion and preview it in new materials and stitching. When you render a design, your browser shrinks large photos, then sends the photo, your material, stitch and thread choices and any notes through our server to Google’s Gemini AI, which creates the preview image. Our server passes the photo along and returns the result; it doesn’t store either one.
Your original photo and each finished design are saved in your own browser (up to your 12 most recent designs) so you can look at them again. That history never leaves your device, and you can delete designs one at a time or clear them all from the Studio page.
Rendering requires an access code from our shop. Your browser remembers the code so you only enter it once. To stop people guessing codes, our server briefly keeps a count of incorrect attempts by IP address, which it discards after 15 minutes.
Please upload photos of the item you want reupholstered, and avoid photos that show people, especially children, or personal documents.
The Location page shows a map of our shop and can plan a route to it. If you type a starting address, or tap the button to use your current location, that starting point is sent to Geoapify to find the route. Your device’s location is only read when you tap that button and your browser asks for, and you grant, permission. We don’t receive or store your starting point. If you open the route in Google Maps or Apple Maps, the starting point is included in that link and handled under their policies.
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we host ourselves rather than a service like Google Analytics. It records the page viewed, the site that referred you, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and country. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t store your IP address and can’t identify you personally. We use these totals to see which pages people find useful and to improve the site.
Like every website, ours receives your IP address and basic details about your browser each time you load a page. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, uses this to deliver the site, keep it secure and protect it from abuse.
We don’t set cookies, and we don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking technology. The site saves two things in your browser’s own storage, only when you use the AI Stitch Studio:
Neither is sent to us or anyone else except as described above. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people apart from automated bots; it isn’t used for tracking or advertising.
These companies provide parts of the website on our behalf and receive only the information they need to do it:
Hosts the website and runs the chat assistant.
Receives: Your IP address and standard request details (pages requested, browser type, time) for every visit.
Writes the chat assistant’s replies and renders AI Stitch Studio designs.
Receives: The messages you type in the chat, and the photo and design choices you submit in the Studio.
Supplies our Google rating and customer reviews on the home page.
Receives: Our server requests the reviews, not your browser. Reviewers’ profile pictures load from Google, which sees your IP address when they do.
Draws the map and calculates driving, walking and cycling directions on the Location page.
Receives: Your IP address when the map loads, and the starting address or location you enter for directions.
A backup map shown only if the main map can’t load.
Receives: Your IP address and standard request details when the backup map loads.
Counts visits so we can see which pages are useful.
Receives: The page viewed, referring site, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and country.
Our photos, videos and fonts are served from our own website, so viewing them doesn’t involve any other company.
We keep the contact and project details you give us for as long as we need them to quote and complete your work, stand behind it, and keep the business and tax records the law requires. We don’t keep chat messages or Studio photos. Visit statistics are kept only as anonymous totals. Designs saved in your browser stay there until you delete them.
The whole site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, the keys to the services we use are kept on our server rather than in your browser, and we limit what we collect to begin with. No website can be completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us.
This website is meant for adults arranging upholstery work. It isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
If we change how the website handles information, for example by adding a new tool or service, we’ll update this page and the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be described here before they take effect.
