Custom Upholstery Services
Built around the 7 core specialties featured on our workshop banner. Every project is cut, patterned, and stitched by master craftsmen in Tarpon Springs.

Marine & Boat Upholstery
Engineered for relentless saltwater exposure and Florida sunshine. Complete replacement of degraded foam, rotten wood cores with King StarBoard polymer substrates, and precision wrapping in 32oz mildew-inhibited marine vinyl with Gore Tenara thread.

Automotive Restyling & Leather
Full custom interior transformations. Rebuilding worn seat bolsters, crafting hand-stitched leather seat covers with red French seams, repairing sagging Alcantara headliners, and custom console wrapping.

Truck & Heavy-Duty Interiors
Truck seats endure tremendous daily wear. We rebuild crushed driver outer bolsters using high-density 2.8lb resilient foam and wrap them in tear-proof, stain-resistant heavy vinyl or premium leather with contrast stitching.

RVs, Campers & Sleeper Cabs
Transform outdated, flaking bonded leather RV furniture into luxury living spaces. We craft custom captain chairs, dinette banquettes, fold-out sofa beds, and contoured sleeping cushions built for long highway hauls.

Powersports, ATVs & Jet Skis
For jet skis operating in Tampa Bay, ATVs in Croom, or custom motorcycles. We build non-slip ribbed gripper seats, waterproof heat-bonded seams, and custom-sculpted saddle foam that won’t absorb water.

Commercial & Coastal Furniture
Serving Tarpon Springs waterfront restaurants, Greek Docks tavernas, yachts, and luxury coastal residences. Custom outdoor marine patio cushions, commercial banquettes, barstools, and Bimini canvas covers.

Born in Tarpon Springs.
Crafted for Land & Sea.
From the historic sponge docks along the Anclote River to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Tarpon Springs boaters and truck drivers put upholstery through extreme tests. Salt spray, relentless subtropical humidity, and baking 95° summer cockpits destroy factory vinyl and interior foam in no time.
Two Brothers Upholstery is owned and run by Olger Mercini and Bajron Mercini, and was established with one mission: fabricate durable, beautiful custom upholstery that outlasts the vehicle or vessel it belongs to. More about us
Solar UV-Index 11+ Defense
Florida sunlight breaks down standard nylon thread in less than 2 seasons. We stitch exclusively with Tenara PTFE and marine-bonded polyester with 1,500+ hour UV inhibitor stabilizers.
100% Saltwater & Mold Immunity
Standard boat seats use plywood that rots and traps black mold. We rebuild cushions on rot-proof King StarBoard marine composite and open-cell reticulated EZ-Dri foam that drains in minutes.
Dockside Marina Service
Cant trailer your vessel to the shop? We offer dockside cushion pickup and re-installation at Tarpon Springs, Anclote, Clearwater, and Dunedin marinas.

Common Customer Questions
Quick, practical answers regarding marine durability, truck bolster rebuilds, materials, and boat trailer logistics.
We use commercial 32oz+ marine vinyls (such as Spradling Silvertex, Morbern, Nautolex) rated for 1,500+ QUV hours with built-in antimicrobial pink-stain inhibitors. Crucially, all marine seams are stitched with 100% Gore Tenara PTFE thread which will never rot, mildew, or snap from UV or saltwater exposure. All fasteners are 316 stainless steel and Monel staples secured into King StarBoard polymer substrates.
Yes, this is one of our primary specialties. Daily sliding in and out of lifted or commercial work trucks crushes factory outer foam bolsters. We strip the seat down to the frame, reinforce the metal spring support, inject and shape 2.8lb high-resilience cold-cured foam, and re-cover with matching OEM or upgraded leather/commercial vinyl. Your ergonomic lumbar and thigh support is completely restored.
Yes! Our workshop at 1465 Savannah Ave, Unit C in Tarpon Springs features a dedicated pull-through lot with wide turning radiuses engineered specifically for trailered center consoles, bay boats, pontoon rigs, and commercial haulers. You can pull right up for on-trailer inspections and cushion staging.
Every project is custom-tailored based on linear cushion yardage, foam rebuild requirements, backing substrate (StarBoard vs wood replacement), and your choice of vinyl or leather. You can click "Request Quote" on this site to send project photos, test designs in our Design Studio, or call/text us directly at (727) 366-7330 for an immediate free estimate.
Standard boat cushion sets and truck bolster rebuilds typically take 3 to 7 business days once materials are staged. For boaters who want to avoid weekend downtime during prime fishing weather, we can template your cushions while you keep your boat on the water, then install when the skins are complete.
We thoroughly inspect the foam core on every project. If your existing foam is waterlogged, smelly, or sagging, we replace it with EZ-Dri reticulated drain-through foam or high-density closed-cell marine foam. We never trap old, damp, decaying foam beneath fresh marine vinyl.
Yes. Whenever we find rotted factory plywood, we discard it and replace it with 100% rot-proof King StarBoard marine polymer. StarBoard will never absorb moisture, delaminate, swell, or rot, guaranteeing that your cushions will last for decades without structural failure.
Absolutely. Our Tarpon Springs showroom features physical sample books of Spradling Silvertex, Morbern marine vinyls, Katzkin Italian Nappa leathers, thread color spools, and tactile foam density test blocks. Visit us Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, or Saturday 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
